Ghost#Dialer 0.Zero is a sort-of prequel that details the events before and concurrently behind the main story of the visual novel. It shifts focus away from Kite and Lain to instead give a glimpse at the lives of the Wisemen Lotus, Magnolia, Balsam, and their Oracle. Rich with character development, cozy yet philosophical, and accompanied by numerous illustrations, this story works as a great introduction into the world of Ghost#Dialer and its setting, Liminal City. As well as a great read for those who have finished the visual novel and wish to know more about its characters.

The events in this novella do not spoil the events of the main visual novel. It is as good of a place to start as the game itself.
